Volunteering

Volunteering

Get involved in your regional art gallery! Like many regional and metropolitan galleries, Shepparton Art Gallery would like to encourage members of our local community to become volunteer tour guides. If you have a strong or keen interest in the arts or arts education and would like to contribute some of your free time we would love to hear from you.

The gallery offers volunteer induction and training sessions throughout the year, giving participants the opportunity to learn about the gallery's unique collection of Australian ceramics, paintings and works on paper. Participants in this course are given resources and training to enable them to guide groups though traveling exhibitions, the permanent collection and upcoming exhibitions with confidence. It is anticipated that volunteers would be required to conduct at least one tour on a monthly basis depending on public demand.

Contact Rhonda Chrisanthou or Angie Russi to register your interest, (03) 5832 9861.
